Q. If I have submitted an application and have not received any feedback what shall I do?

A. It is with regret that we are unable to acknowledge that applications have been received. If you have been successful in your application you will be contacted before the 28th April 2006. If you have not received a response to your application form and it is now after 28th April 2006 you have been unsuccessful in your application.

What information can you tell me about the scheme?

Q. What is the starting salary on the Apprenticeship?

A. Starting salaries will be within a range of £30,000 to £35,000 per annum, plus discretionary bonus.

Q. What is the length of the scheme?

A. The Apprenticeship will last between 9-12 months.

Q. When is the scheme due to start?

A. The Apprenticeship is due to start in September 2006.

Q. Will successful candidates receive any training?

A. There will be a dedicated training and induction programme for both schemes.

Q. Why is it only possible to apply for one scheme i.e. either the Inter-dealer scheme or the Stock broking scheme?

We can only accept applications for one scheme as the roles within each separate business are very different and require different skills. You need to decide which area you are interested in and why you are looking to follow this career path. It is therefore important that you undertake some research on each business and the types of roles on offer, before applying. We will expect to see an understanding of this in your application. Any duplicate application’s, will not be considered.
